Petts Wood & Holmesdale are back on the road this Saturday, as we make the short trip to the Eden Estates Stadium to take on Beckenham Town in the SCEFL Premier Division.

Dale head into the fixture knowing exactly what is at stake. Beckenham currently sit in the relegation zone, with Dale one place above them, while both sides have eight points on the board. With the league table so tight, three points could make a significant difference come Saturday evening.

Our last league outing saw us share the points with Hollands & Blair in a 1-1 draw at the New Inn Stadium. That result followed another important moment for new signing Mo Diaby, who found the net once again.

Diaby made his PWHFC debut against Chislehurst Glebe and marked the occasion with a goal. He then followed that up by scoring in his second appearance against Hollands & Blair, giving him two goals in his opening two games for the club.

The midfielder will now be looking to continue that impressive start as we travel to Beckenham.

The hosts come into the game after a 2-0 defeat away to Kennington in their last league fixture and will be determined to respond on home soil.

For Dale, however, Saturday presents a big opportunity. A win would not only see us take three points from a side directly around us in the table, but could also provide the chance to climb further up the Premier Division.

With both teams fighting for valuable points and so little separating them, this has all the ingredients of a real six-pointer at the Eden Estates Stadium.
