After a fantastic start to the season, attention now turns towards Bank Holiday Monday as the Dale welcome local rivals AFC Greenwich Borough to The New Inn Stadium.

The Dale were originally due to face Rusthall away on Saturday before Monday’s derby, but that fixture has since been postponed, with a new date to be announced in due course.

That leaves Monday’s local derby as the sole focus, with Petts Wood & Holmesdale looking to continue their perfect start to the SCEFL Premier Division campaign.

Dale have taken six points from the opening two league fixtures, beating Phoenix Sports 3-2 away before securing a 1-0 home victory over Erith & Belvedere.

Confidence is also high following the incredible 5-1 victory away at Raynes Park Vale, with Charlie Clover scoring twice alongside goals from Connor Evans, Joel Wakefield and captain Ryan Mahal.

Standing in the way on Monday are Greenwich Borough, who have also made a positive start to the campaign. With both sides in good form, a competitive local derby awaits at The New Inn Stadium.

Dale will be looking to make home advantage count once again and maintain their 100% league record.
