Petts Wood & Holmesdale FC are back in cup action on Tuesday night, as we welcome Sporting Bengal to The New Inn Stadium in the First Round of the London Senior Cup.

After a disappointing Emirates FA Cup exit on Saturday, the Dalers will be looking to bounce back and progress into the next round of another cup competition.

Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round tie against Windsor & Eton was one to forget for the Dalers, with the visitors running out 1-5 winners at The New Inn Stadium.

Our only goal of the afternoon came from Mecca Samuels, who produced a spectacular finish to give the home supporters something to celebrate, on what was otherwise a frustrating afternoon.

Now, the focus turns to Tuesday night and a chance to put things right.

With the London Senior Cup getting underway, the Dalers will be hoping to make home advantage count and book their place in the next round.

Sporting Bengal
Sporting Bengal also head into Tuesday night’s game looking to bounce back from defeat.

Their latest fixture saw them travel to Woodside Road to take on Benfleet in the Essex Senior League.

The game remained goalless until the 80th minute, when Benfleet were awarded a penalty. Jacob Wiggins stepped up and converted from the spot, scoring the only goal of the game.

The result saw Sporting Bengal leave Woodside Road empty-handed and they will now be hoping to respond themselves when they make the trip to The New Inn Stadium.

We look forward to welcoming you to The New Inn Stadium on Tuesday, get behind the lads and give them the push to get through to Round 2 of the London Senior Cup.
